1. Data Ownership & Storage
Shibashi is designed as a local-first application. Your flashcard progress, review history, Spaced Repetition System (SRS) intervals, and study statistics are saved directly on your local device. We do not transmit your flashcard study progress to any external marketing databases.
2. Information We Collect
- In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: Subscription status (e.g. Shibashi Pro) is processed securely by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your credit card numbers or banking details.
- Crash & Performance Telemetry: Optional anonymous crash reporting provided by Apple iOS helps us identify and fix bugs. No personal data is attached to these diagnostic logs.
3. Zero Third-Party Tracking
We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal data. We do not use third-party cross-app advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Children's Privacy
Shibashi does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is completely safe for learners of all ages.

Terms of Use (EULA)
Last Updated: September 9, 2026Welcome to Shibashi ("App", "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Shibashi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
1. Acceptance of Terms
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Shibashi application or website.
2. Shibashi Pro Subscriptions
- Billing & Renewal: Subscriptions (Monthly or Annual) automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
- Free Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings.
3. Intellectual Property
All flashcard artwork, mnemonic stories, kanji breakdown text, audio assets, UI design, and logos in Shibashi are the exclusive intellectual property of Shibashi and Lukasz Dmowski. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell any content from the app.
4. Limitation of Liability
Shibashi is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app.

Q: How do I restore my Shibashi Pro subscription?
Open the Shibashi iOS app, go to the Pro tab or settings menu, and tap Restore Purchases. Your Apple ID will re-verify your active subscription instantly.
Q: How does the Spaced Repetition System (SRS) work?
Shibashi automatically schedules card reviews based on how well you remember them:
• Again (1 min) • Hard (1 day) • Good (3 days) • Easy (7 days).
Card intervals increase exponentially as you master them!
Q: How do I reset my study stats or local progress?
You can reset your review progress directly inside the app under Profile settings, or by reinstalling the app from the iOS App Store.
